Originally from South Carolina, I grew up in Oklahoma. Then in 1990 my mother moved back to Texas in a return to our family roots, which started in Texas in 1855.

Adventuresome and daring, I wanted to see what Texas offered and I found it offers plenty if one is willing to seek it out. Experiencing a variety of business positions, it wasn't until 2005 that I found real estate satisfied my need for a changing work environment. I was able to work in the office and still get out in the field and meet with people. While taking the continued education requirement classes, I was able to pass the Texas Dept of Savings and Mortgage Lending pre-licensing exam. Real estate also offered a challenge in that not everyone was able to qualify for the loans they needed to purchase their dream home. Nothing to me was more disappointing than having to let my clients know they could not qualify for the loan due to credit issues. I used my personal experience, repairing my own credit to help my customer’s repair there's. This led to my extensive interest in assisting people with credit issues.

I have worked with 1000's of people over the years at three different credit servicing companies; I have trained and managed processors at one of the largest credit repair companies in Houston. After continuing to work for other companies and seeing many downfalls in the system I decided to partner with a Cristina Martinez to  open Custom Credit Consultants.
